When parties of up to 30 people are part of a regular entertaining lifestyle, a functioning and well-planned kitchen is a necessity! Along with a complete kitchen re-think, these entertaining hosts wanted to incorporate a large island space where guests could gather and be active in the kitchen action. We gave them a design that expanded their existing kitchen footprint and incorporated a floating kitchen island where guest to congregate on all sides. Polished porcelain tiles and a layered lighting design provides a simple calm and inviting backdrop the cacophony of action this kitchen gets!
