Basement Renovated to a Cozy Family Gathering Space

A Mantiock family wanted to give their growing children more space to play and unclutter the rest of their living areas. The unused basement was the perfect spot to extend their recreational space, but it needed to be warm, functional and appropriately incorporated into the rest of their home. The room was finished with materials that would withstand the vigorous actions of family and plenty of storage spaces. Introducing a fireplace created a warm and cozy hearth for the whole family to enjoy together.
