Stitsville Kitchen Remodel

When a young family bought a house in suburban Stittsville, they knew a remodel was in order. The traditional style of the home didn’t match their modern aesthetic, and the kitchen layout restricted the space they needed for their growing family.

We designed a new layout that expanded the floorplan and brought in modern sensibilities while keeping the space warm and livable. A large island now anchors the kitchen, allowing for both prep and family seating, and a new eat-in dining area extends the functionality of the space.

Sleek cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a waterfall-edge island offer a clean visual impact, while the subtle tile backsplash adds texture without overpowering the room. A dedicated wine fridge and upgraded lighting—with task, ambient, and accent sources—round out the design, creating a space where modern style and everyday function blend seamlessly.
